There's a big difference between challenging and punishing, this wasn't challenging. Also you just take a screen shot and use the background's pictures to orient yourself and finish the game in one sitting.
Maybe give us a few seconds to draw over the map, or paint important parts of the map to allow us to orient ourselves instead of brute force memory. Maybe the paint can fade over time?
I like the song, but it didn't keep me calm as I walked into the same spike tempting me to quit the game if I wasn't so stubborn. Are we in a graveyard?

Thank you for playing. I'm sorry it was punishing, I have a hard time differentiating the two. It was also intentional to use the background sprites to find your way through the levels.
I'll update the game to make it less punishing but still keep it hard.
